Basically, Nike has developed a set of golf clubs that will make the game more
enjoyable and affordable for everyone, including the average person who just
enjoys being on the course.
The NDS driver has a 2041 Beta Titanium face. This provides an increase in distance
because it is stronger and thinner than steel. The 400cc titanium head has a
deep and large face that will increase the forgiveness of the club. The Woods
are made from 17-4 stainless steel. For ideal launch angle the center of gravity
is low, which makes it easier to lift the ball off the fairway and on its way
to the green. Both the woods and the driver come with a Fujikura NDS graphite
shaft, which is a soft tip shaft designed for the NDS head.
The NDS short irons raise the center of gravity with a narrower notch thus increasing
the workability. The long irons allow for greater forgiveness by increasing
the heel to toe weighting by having a larger notch. The irons have a softer
feel and are made from 431 stainless steel with a wide sole and progressive
offset.
