Tommy Armour Morph Irons
Goal Of Iron Set: Increased playability up from the long irons to the short irons with extra forgiveness in the harder to hit long irons.
From Tommy Armour: Having been through tough times in recent years the Morph improvement iron set was developed and designed by Tommy Armour with the sole intention of bringing the company back into the golf spotlight.
We Say: Tommy Armour Golf may not be as well
known in the states as they are in Scotland, but their clubs, called Morph can
hold their own. Morph game-improvement irons are available in long, short and
mid. In all of their irons, the CG (center-of-gravity) is placed low in the
club face. This of course helps to launch the ball high and straight for progressive
amateur players.
These Morph irons are the first to combine three different head designs. The
long irons feature deep-cavity construction, while the mid iron has a more conventional
mid-cavity and the short irons feature a blade design. All of the irons are
complimented by three types of proprietary Rifle Flighted shafts with trajectory
characteristics tailored to each different head type.
This set received its name Morph because of how the club head seems to transform
or "morph" throughout the game as you switch the clubs out. This set
can now be found for a much more reasonable price with just a little comparison
shopping on eBay below.
In Conclusion: We highly recommend the Morph iron set for their original club head designs and affordable price, when compared to similar clubs from other manufacturers.
